Built by people who have drained the tank at 6 PM
Tessa Hollander groomed out of a van in Boise for nine years. The grooming was the good part. The rest was a paper planner, a maps app at red lights, and forty reminder texts typed on Sunday nights.
In 2022 she asked Walt Brannigan, a neighbor who had spent a decade ordering parcel routes, whether the same math could order seven dogs. It could. The first Bramble was a route sheet for one van, printed and taped to the dash.
Today 23 of us work on it, a third of whom have run a van, and it plans the day for 1,140 of them. We still test every release from a driveway.
